Neuroprice Saves Book Sellers Life

Ok, Maybe Neuroprice didn't save my life. But it did save me from the evil surcharges that were eating my lunch and it did breathe new life into my old dingy inventory. My sales were slumping, my inventory was aging and I was not able to keep up. I was repricing 250 books at a time and it was taking all day. It was grueling and inefficient.

The Aging Inventory Monster

I had amassed 2000 books in my first year of Amazon selling and I thought I had things under control when... All of a sudden the fees... The fees began... My Inventory was not moving as fast as I thought. What are these surcharges... Ahh!!! I began to panic. What do I do?

Reprice, Liquidate, Vaporize?

I was seriously stressed and thinking that I might have bought undesireable and unsellable inventory. Do I need to remove the Inventory? Do I have Amazon donate/destroy it? Liquidate it? At this point I was looking for a vaporize button. Were repricing tools my weak link? I did not use a repricer. I had only repriced manually and did not think it was that important. I thought if I price it really competitively and leave it alone that would be good enough. It will sell If I wait long enough. And then... SURCHARGES!! Give me your lunch money HAHAHA!!! No!!

Reprice Daily

Reprice Daily is his mantra. Thats right, Peter Valley the mad scientist amazon guru behind Neuroprice recommends repricing daily. Not twice a day, not 3 times a day, once daily. Now at first I thought daily? No way. Rediculous. Surely once a week should suffice. I was repricing every couple of months! I am not there yet but at this point I am repricing every other day and the results are already a huge improvement. I am learning how to use neuroprice still so while I am not repricing daily yet( May need to attain repricing enlightenment status), I am definetly moving in that direction. Below is a chart showing the increase in sales since I began using neuroprice, which was around the 20th of January. I just broke my record for the most sales in one day with 26 sales. Repricing is mandatory. Case closed.

Reprice Combat Training

Repricing manually daily would be impossible. But with a repricer like neuroprice it is pretty easy even one page at a time. I have repriced 250 items per page, but have settled on repricing 100 items per page. There is a "Reprice All" button that I am looking forward to using very soon once I'm confident my filters are optimized. I have continued repricing a page at a time in order to tweak my filters and make sure I am getting the intended results and not dropping prices excessively or raising them excessively either. But soon, it will be "Reprice All" once a day. Now that is much easier than repricing manually 250 items a day one at a time.

Maximizing Profits

Neuroprice allows you to really maximize profits by allowing you to match 3rd lowest, 2nd lowest and lowest price. It is the only repricer that can do this currently. It also has a ton of other filters and tweaks.

Repricing A Must and some final thoughts

While repricing has not completely eliminated the surcharges, the increased sales have more than made up for them. It is much easier to accept a $160 surcharge if you get a $1200 payout every 2 weeks instead of a $400 payout and obviously if your inventory is moving then there will be less surchages. Once your inventory becomes unruly and you cannot manage manually repricing all your books, a repricer is a must.

New Features Coming Soon

Neuroprice will have a scheduling feature added very soon.

Repricing With Neuroprice Recommended

I shopped around for a repricer and decided on Neuroprice for 3 reasons:
  1. It claims to have no blind spots
  2. It runs inside of amazon as a browser extention
  3. Because It runs in the browser, I get to run linux my favorite operating system
I have not tried any other repricers. I recommend Neuroprice because of the incredible results I am getting so far. Click the banner below or this affiliate link for the 14 day free trial!
